First and foremost welcome to the 2013/14 season. I wish everyone all the best for this season and hope we all do as good as we did last season, and wish that the 1’s and 4’s taste the success as the 2’s and 3’s did last season! Welcome to the new players to the club, welcome to the juniors who officially start their senior careers as a fully fledged senior, best of luck to you and also welcome to the committee where we will try and make this season just as successful as last. This year we are trying to move our 3’s and 4’s back to Glen Waverley Secondary College where we have played for years before, it would be much better having all our teams close to each other rather than, 1’s at Glen Waverley North, 3’s at Mulgrave Reserve and 4’s at Caloola Reserve as an example for 1 Saturdays cricket. To make this a successful year we need to train and work hard, for the success on the field, and get behind social events for the success of the field, but all in all good luck to everyone for this season.
